What is Alpha?
Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that explore the basics of the Christian faith.
Who's it for?
Alpha is for anyone who's curious to explore the big questions of life, faith and meaning. The talks are designed to encourage conversation and explore the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. You can say anything you like or nothing at all.
How does it work?
Typically run over 11 weeks (including one weekend), no two Alphas look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: food, a short talk and a discussion where you can share your thoughts. There's no pressure and no follow up.
How much is it?
There's no charge for Alpha, though some places ask for a contribution towards food, we at JIBC do NOT.

Life Groups
Putting in to action the purposes of our core values.
The fellowship are encouraged to be part of small group to pray, study and 'do life together.' Groups meet on Wednesday & Tuesday. All welcome, why not join us when you are visiting. We are currently (April 26) we are studying Romans, which is a 10 week course. We will then move onto to other books of the bible and also we, at times, ask Pastor Rich to provide questions based on his Sermons. We eat and drink together, we share together, we pray together we learn together. Lifegroups are a safe place to open up with the understanding that what is shared is done in confidence unless told otherwise. If you are a regular attendee but not a member of JIBC, you are welcome to join a group.

We meet every Wednesday afternoon with Gata de Gorgos group meeting on a Tuesday evening.
Men's and Women's Group
Men's and Women's group meet on alternating week. The Ladies meet at 18:00 on a Monday evening at the JIBC Church Centre. The Men meet on a Tuesday evening at 19:15.
The evenings comprise coffee and chat before we move on to a set subject. For example we are currently following a video course "Practicing the Way" a study based on being an Apprentice of Jesus and growing to be more like Him.

Youth Group
Youth Group meets every Wednesday evening at 19:00 at JIBC Church Centre. Ages 13-18 are welcome. We play games, study the Bible, hear teachings, and overall build community with one another. If you or your child is interested, contact Angelina on Whatsapp at +34 711 092 655
