On Sunday 28th November at the Grande Cafe Toscamar over a hundred people attended a special Sunday Service after which an Anniversary cake was served.

When the church began in 1995 it had a congregation of ten, since then JIBC has grown into a thriving international church with a congregation of many denominations, who are mainly British in origin but also attending are people from other countries such as, Germany, Holland, South Africa, Guatemala, Venezuela, the Caribbean, the United States of America and Spain.

Over the years JIBC has established traditions that are becoming a part of Javea, such as the Easter Sunrise Service, held on the beach every Easter Sunday and the Christmas Carol singing which takes place at Javea Port each Christmas and will be held this year on Wednesday 22nd December at 12.00 mid-day, (at the rear of the Miramar Hotel).
